What we do:
We deliver targeted skills development and learning programmes that are aligned to the requirements of the B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice.
With several campuses around the country, Signa Academy offers a broad range of short courses and accredited learnership programmes to able-bodied and disabled students. We then assist the qualified individuals find suitable employment, so they can contribute to the success of the country.
The majority of our learners are disabled and are entered into the training programmes to either increase their chance of successful employment or to encourage entrepreneurship. Training is delivered nationally from our “disabled-friendly” Signa Academy campuses.
Disabled Skills Development:
Signa Academy conducts an initial profile and skills test to ensure that each learner is equipped to successfully complete the learnership in which they enrolled. We also source sponsoring employers who will support progressive learning, thereby improving the opportunity of long-term employment.
Learnership and Apprenticeships:
We believe in empowering all our learners and helping them secure employment. We do this by delivering accredited learnerships and apprenticeships on a national scale, while offering a personal support structure and helping our unemployed learners develop career paths.
